Embroidery or Print?

We will try to clarify the question “Should I prefer printing or embroidery?”, which is one of the questions that our customers who demand products with logos or branding on workwear and promotional textiles usually ask. The type and weight of the fabric to be applied, the number of colors, the graphic itself is actually the most determining factor in this matter.

If the size of your graphic is small, embroidery and printing costs will be almost the same and embroidery will give a longer lasting result. However, if your graphic has fine lines-writings, trams or details, it would be better to prefer printing. Embroidery costs will increase in large areas and if the weight of your fabric is not enough, it will be difficult to carry the embroidery.

Worker clothes and promotional textiles, clothes that will be exposed to intense impact, embroidery will provide longer durability and quality, so it makes sense to prefer embroidery in this type of clothing. Printing will be more suitable for features such as large branding, logos, graphics to be used. Therefore, printing can be preferred for graphics where the design is large and stands out.

When there is no logo suitable for printing or embroidery, labels and crests will also give a good result.

Of course, the characteristics of the requested fabric will always have the last word because not every material can be embroidered or printed. In such cases, our technical team will make the most accurate guidance for you.
