One of the questions that our customers who request products with logo or branding on workwear and promotional textiles usually ask; 'should I prefer printing or embroidery?'. We will try to clarify that question. The type and weight of the fabric to be applied, the number of colors, and the graphic itself are the most decisive factors in this regard.
If the size of your graphic is small, embroidery and printing costs will be almost the same, and embroidery will give a longer lasting result. However, if there are fine lines, thin texts, distress texture details in your graphic, it will be more accurate to prefer printing. Embroidery costs will increase in large areas and if the weight of your fabric is not enough, it will be difficult to carry the embroidery.
On worker's clothes and promotional textiles it would be logical to prefer embroidery as it will provide longer durability and quality with clothes that will be exposed to intense impact. Printing will be more suitable for features such as graphics where the design is large and stands out.
When there is no logo suitable for printing or embroidery, labeling and patches will also give a good result.
Of course, the most important thing will always be the feature of the requested fabric, because not every material can be embroidered or printed. In such cases, our technical team will make the most accurate guidance for you.
