We can hear you asking the question, ‘What is EcoVero Viscose’ as soon as you see the title. Thanks to EcoVero Viscose, a new, environmentally friendly, sustainable door has opened in the sector. This fabric is sustainable and environmentally friendly. It is produced using a recyclable pulp made from trees from controlled sources.

This type of fabric was produced for the first time in Austria by Lenzing, a viscose factory that takes attention with it’s sustainable wood and paper production. Since then, it has been frequently preferred by consumers who protect the environment sensitive nature. In order to prevent irreversible disasters such as global warming and climate change, conscious companies have been producing in a sustainable and less damaging way in recent years.

EcoVero Viscose is also a fabric type offered to us by Lenzing company as a result of this effort. Since EcoVero Viscose’s environmental sensitivity has been internationally documented, you can use it with peace of mind.

Features of EcoVero Viscose Fabric

EcoVero Viscose is a fabric type with approximately %50 lower water effect and emission compared to generic viscose. The raw material of EcoVero Viscose is pulp obtained from renewable wood resources.

If we come to the properties of the fabric, EcoVero Viscose, which has a soft texture like silk, is preferred by environmentally friendly consumers instead of silk fabric. In addition, the fabric has a completely smooth surface. It is not a flexible fabric type by nature, but more elastic materials can be added to make it a little more flexible. In other words, since your clothes are made of wood, you do not need to think that they will be torn and have a paper- like structure. It would be a mistake to think that it can tear that way.

Cellulusic fibers in the fabric make the fabric breathable because it regulates the absorption and release of moisture; therefore, it supports the needed heat flow of the body. EcoVero Viscose, which has a light structure, has the ability to absorb water four times it’s weight in itself. It is perfect for summer clothes due to it’s airy and spacious structure.

Since it is made of wood pulp, it dissolves completely within a few months when left in nature or thrown into a landfill.

ECOVERO VISCOSE FABRIC AND SUSTAINABILITY

The main difference between EcoVero Viscose and normal viscose is sustainability and transparency. The are several important reasons that make using EcoVero Viscose significantly more sustainable than normal viscose produced. It’is also documented that EcoVeros materials came from sustainable sources and it have no harmful effects on forests.

If you want to be sure that the clothes you wear are environmentally friendly, EcoVero’s internationally valid EU-eco label is available fort this. This label proves that the product is internationally sustainable.

Since it is made of wood pulp, when you get tired of using your clothes produced with EcoVero Viscose and throw them in a garbage dump, you can be sure that your clothes will disappear and return to nature with a few months. The transparency of the supply chain provides an advanced monitoring system that allows customers who want to use EcoVero Viscose to know the fiber formation cycle from raw material to production, distrubition and disposal, that is increasing confidence in the sustainability of the fabric.
